The “Women in Motorsport Shoot-Out Challenge” has
received an overwhelming response. A large amount of
entries were received for the competition and the
approval process has been very challenging.
After sifting through the many entries, the selection
panel decided on the ten finalists who have gone on to
participate in the Assessment Event which was held at
Gerotek Vehicle Testing facility outside of Pretoria on
the 5th and 7th of February.
Two days of intensive training by qualified advanced
driving instructors have confirmed the talents of the
ten women who were chosen as the finalists. The
finalists come from various backgrounds – complete
beginners, drag racing, oval track racing and rally
navigators.
